BURNS SUPPER
A celebration of the life and works of Robert Burns, one of Scotland’s most beloved sons, whose poems have had lasting relevance and beauty for succeeding generations.
The evening starts with a social hour & cash bar from 6-7pm, with Scottish Country Dancing. Our formal Burns Supper ceremonies begin at 7 pm with the Piping of the Haggis. After a dramatic recitation of Robert Burns' poems "Address to a Haggis" and "Selkirk Grace", we'll have a taste of haggis, neeps & tatties, then enjoy a buffet dinner with Burns melodies, followed by the traditional toasts, pipes and drums, more Scottish and social dancing, and raffles! Our evening will conclude as we join together in fellowship singing the Burns classic “Auld Lang Syne.”
