COME JOIN US FOR OUR ANNUAL Scottish Fall/ Halloween Ceilidh THAT TAKES PLACE EVERY OCTOBER.
*DATE, TIME AND LOCATION FOR NEXT YEAR'S CEILIDH TO BE ANNOUNCED IN SEPTEMBER.
THE CEILIDH IS AN EVENING OF MUSIC, DANCE AND OTHER ENTERTAINMENT
A ceildih (pronouced: kay-lee) is an informal Scottish party with dance, music, food & fun! Click here to check out an interactive video by VisitScotland showing some popular ceilidh dances. We have great fun doing "Strip the Willow" down the long hall [shown on the right].
Our local Scottish Country Dance group meets on Tuesday evenings from 7-9pm at the Sunrise Senior Center, 10750 W. Oakland Park Blvd, Sunrise. New members are always welcome - no experience necessary! If you'd like to 'get a leg up' on the ceilidh, the class will specifically be reviewing/learning some popular Ceilidh dances at the 10/11 and 10/18 classes.
