The Volunteer/Membership picnic will be held on April 24th at the Duck Pond Park which is across the street from Heritage on Peters Road. Map
The Society will provide hot dogs, hamburgers, soda, beer and water. We ask that if you are attending that you bring a dessert or a side dish. Please RSVP( so we can get some sort of head count) to Faye West
If you prefer to RSVP by phone the number is 954-548-9545. Hours of the picnic are from 12 noon until 6pm. There is a park admission fee of $1.50 (6 and over) per person.
This is open to SASSF members and all volunteers, as well as the volunteer’s family.
Please bring pipes or drums, or other instrument. Also bring shoes for country dancing on concrete or grass.

This is a covered-dish-event for which there is no charge, appart from the park entry fee.
The picnic is for all members, volunteers, and workers of the festival or other events, dancers, and pipe band members.
If you do not fit in the above categories but are interested in celebrating along with us, or becoming involved in some way you are invited also.
Please bring something for the table that will feed the number in your group and a little to share.
All of those who brought volunteers who may not be on our email list please let your volunteers know.
This is a family fun event.
Someone usually brings water balloons for a balloon toss and eggs for an egg toss.
If you can play an instrument please bring it. The pipers and drummers get together to play and have fun.
